Fayette Local School District Driver Education is offered in partnership with the MOV ESC Driving School.
The site coordinator for Fayette Local School District is Janna Ballmer. Mrs. Ballmer will provide the training agreement and details.
Complete the training agreement and submit your payment. The MOV ESC Driving School will accept an online payment. Please be sure to save your username and password.
**NOTE - FAYETTE STUDENTS WILL ONLY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THE $100 DEPOSIT.**
STUDENTS FROM AREA DISTRICTS WILL PAY THE FULL AMOUNT AS WELL AS A $50.00 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE TO FAYETTE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT.
2. Once payment is received, please, see Janna Ballmer for the online code.
3. Complete the 24-hour online class (a certificate will be mailed to your home after completion).
4. You must obtain a permit before driving training can begin.
5. Bring the certificate of online completion to Janna Ballmer, with a valid permit, to schedule the eight (8) hours of behind-the-wheel training.
6. Fayette Local School District has a car that will be used for in-vehicle instruction.
7. The MOV ESC instructor rides with the student for eight hours total. Fayette instructors are Suzette Boesger, Chris Becker, and Amy Gorsuch. They will do their best to work around the student’s schedule to complete the behind-the-wheel training. DO NOT SCHEDULE YOUR DRIVING TEST UNTIL IN-VEHICLE INSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE AND CERTIFICATES IS ISSUED.
8. After the completion of the eight hours of in-vehicle instruction, a certificate will be issued from the MOV ESC Driving School that is needed by the BMV in order to take the driving test.
